SORRY - THIS EVENT IS CANCELLED. A NEW DATE WILL BE RE-ARRANGED SHORTLY for a social evening during which there will be a presentation and slide show of this summer's Swiss Camp adventure. This would be an excellent opportunity for Parents & Carers, Leaders and youngsters, to have a winter evening's convivial get together. Come and meet other mums and dads; come and meet the Leaders too. A request: Many parents took phtographs of our departure from Aberdeen airport including a "team" photo outside the main building. ------------------ oOo ------------------ About The Group We are located in the Northeast of Scotland, 20 miles N.W. of Aberdeen and are a thriving group of about 100 young people ranging from 6-18 years. The Group consists of Beavers (6 - 8 years), Cubs (8 - 10 1/2 years), Scouts (10 1/2 - 14 years) and also (run at District level) Explorers (14 - 18 years). The Beavers meet at Meldrum Academy, and the Cubs, Scouts & Explorers meet at the Daviot Scout Hut at Loanhead of Daviot. The Group is lucky that we have access to a hall within 9 acres of natural woodland owned by the local Scout Region. Consequently our Group emphasis is on outdoor skills. More detailed Group information can be found here.
